While meeting 100 percent of the need for corneas for transplant in the Washington, Northern Idaho, Montana, and Alaska, SightLife also helped fill cornea shortages in 27 countries in 2005.
And by Sharing Sight and Hearing Technology
Our Eye Bank’s international scope has opened many doors for the sharing of technology. Most recently, more than 50 corneal surgeons and eye banking professionals from across India attended as Foundation President and CEO Monty Montoya and SightLife Associate Medical Director Paul Dubord gave a two-day seminar on the basics of eye banking.
