Meet Our Staff
Northwest Lions Foundation for Sight & Hearing
Bonnie Heather
Director of Human Resources and Office Administration
A native of Long Island, New York, Bonnie joined the Foundation in late August of 2002. Her ready smile and calm disposition have made her a welcome addition to the staff. Behind all that serenity apparently lurks a well-developed sense of adventure. Prior to joining the Foundation, Bonnie spent two years on a 32-foot sailboat in Central America. She was also a wedding coordinator for three years and is a graduate of the Massage School of Santa Monica.
She received her Professional in Human Resources certification through the Society for Human Resources Management. Today she is a student of Northwest University working towards a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.
Cathy Pelzel
Executive Assistant
Cathy Pelzel is a Puget Sound area local, having grown up in Auburn, Washington. She graduated from North Seattle Community College with a degree in Office Management and Administrative Assistance. She is also a Certified Professional Secretary.
Cathy likes to hike, bike, read, and travel. Thanks to the effects of donation in a relative's life, Cathy has also been a public speaker promoting organ donation and transplantation for the Northwest Kidney Foundation.
