Jeanette Wilcox
Director of Finance
Born into a Navy family, Jeanette grew up all over the globe, including the east and west coasts of this country, and Spain, Japan, and the Philippines. As an adult she felt grateful and relieved to put down roots in Bellingham, where she raised a family and attended college at Whatcom Community College and Western Washington University. She put her accounting education to work as owner of a bookkeeping service before moving to Seattle three years ago to head the accounting department at Rainbow Play Systems. She joined the Foundation in June of 2002.
Outside of work, Jeanette enjoys sailing, gardening, photography, and reading - now that she has the time. For 16 years, gymnastic meets and practices occupied most of her "free" time. Her daughter won multiple state championships and went to Southeast Missouri University on a full-ride scholarship. Her son also competed at high levels before moving on to other interests.
Tara Shepherd
Senior Accounting Specialist
Tara Shepherd grew up in Kirkland, WA and completed her BA in History at Western Washington University. She started working at the Foundation in 2002. Her responsibilities include coordinating all accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, as well as other duties including processing all gifts and contributions made to the Foundation.
Tara's interests include skiing, hiking, cooking, and spending time with family.
Rhiannon Martin
Accounting Specialist
Rhiannon Martin was born in Tucson, Arizona, but grew up in Edmonds, WA. She is currently taking online classes at Shoreline Community College and shortly will be receiving her AA degree in accounting.
Here at the Foundation, Rhiannon shares responsibility for accounts payables and receivables. As AUDIENT/Northwest Hearing Care continues to grow, more and more of her time will be devoted to working with this hearing subsidiary of the Northwest Lions Foundation for Sight & Hearing.
Before joining us she worked for Washington Mutual as well as at a preschool. She enjoys music, dancing, outdoor activities, and spending time with her friends and family.
