Sabah Hawasli
Purchasing and Transportation Manager
Sabah is a Syrian American who has lived in King County since 1992. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature. As his title suggests, he coordinates many of the Foundation’s administrative projects, provides valuable assistance to SightLife with the delivery of corneas, and is responsible for purchasing and maintaining supplies for all operations. Prior to joining the Foundation in 1997, he worked as an interpreter with the U. N. Inspection Team in Damascus and was Administrative Manager at OSHCO-PAE, Ltd. and at Westinghouse Electric.
Sabah is a writer of short stories and has published two books. Ferial and Sabah are proud parents of three children. They both enjoy reading and listening to classical music.
